architecture: Michael Tribus The basic concept for the design implicates the dialogue between designed nature and wild nature - between cultural landscape and natural landscape. It’s a statement for the delightful co-existence of both landscape typlogies, not their competitive but their synergistic effects should be realized. Assuming the linear shape of the building, the straight and simple design language signifies the human-modified and planned cultural landscape. The non-walkable area is defined by the planting, consisting of oblong flower beds with pretentious, cultivated plants situated in a basic area planted with a seed mixture for extenvise roofs. Mostly extensive, but nevertheless attractive plants will grow here and stand for the beauty of wild nature, requiring no or very little plantcare. |

The linear water basin signifies the aquatic habitat. Following the line of the flower beds it delimitates the walkable roof area towards the railway station. A wooden surface of untreated larch provides space for small representations. The boundary towards the non-walkable area is defined by a simple seatfurniture, also made of larch. |
